I’m Kevin Romoser, a full-stack product leader based in the NYC area. I started my career as a graphic designer, but I quickly realized the importance of understanding the technicalities of web development in designing experiences that people want to use. Just as a print designer should understand the implications of different papers and printing processes, designers for the web have to understand the technologies that transform mockups into interfaces, wireframes into applications and sites.
So I taught myself front-end development, and I found that I really enjoyed the problem-solving nature of coding. It felt good to design and then build things that people use. But eventually I made the transition into product management because I found the best way for me to make an impact with my career was to marry my cross-functional experience and my strong strategic intuitions. I am currently a Senior Product Manager at Launch, where I have had the privilege of creating enterprise-level, high-impact platforms for clients such as Goldman Sachs, Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), and Epic Games.
I am a creative thinker, ambitiously driven towards innovation, who believes that thoughtful, well-designed and well-crafted digital products have the power to transform lives. When I’m not thinking about and working on product strategy, you can probably find me training for a marathon, throwing pottery, cooking vegan Szechuan food, or listening to my favorite podcast. I love being outdoors, thinking about ethics, and making dinner for friends.
If you think there’s a project we could collaborate on, shoot me an email!
Thanks,
Kevin
